When Sculpture meets 3D printing<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Does 3D printing technology enhance or subvert the nature, value, ownership, collection and circulation of artworks? When the same data file can be printed infinitely, how to characterize its \"Original\"? The original intention of collection is to own the physical object, but when the work becomes a digital file, does the collector have the registration right of the digital file or the printing right?\n
\nZhang Zhe uses 3D printing as his carving knife, and the material changes from stainless steel hangers to plastics; and then processes them into gold and jade. This is not only a subversion of traditional sculptures, but also a measure that shocks and stirs up a storm of art and value, and will reshape people's cognitive boundaries of \"collection\".\n

The process of stealing and smelting is to change the original material, symbolizing the fluidity of existence and the nature of nothingness. This series of works is deliberately made to imitate gold, such as the gold ornaments displayed in traditional Hong Kong gold shops in the past. Gold is regarded by humans as the most valuable safe-haven asset. With the rise of digital currencies today, some people have begun to question the dominant position of gold, just as 3D printed sculptures pose a core contradiction to the essence of artistic value. In the future, will we collect the permanence of matter or the fluidity of numbers?<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

This may take ten or even a hundred years to find out the answer.\nThe Buddhist compassion and Trump's behavior form a sharp contrast, which makes us reflect on the choice of power and morality. As children, we often say that if you focus on a goal, you can achieve it. Does this remind us of the power of thought?\nWhat would happen if Trump's behavior was mixed with Buddhist philosophy? Or are the two just different paths to the same end?
